One True Thing

I HATE this painting. I have worked on it for days; cropping, painting, painting again and again, adding pastel now I admit defeat!!! (I must admit I did learn a thing or two... but still ugh) Good thing today is trash day. I guess I'll go shovel the mountain of snow of my patio so that it doesn't melt into our basement. Better yet, I'm of to the market to buy some fresh tulips ...

Daffodils

We have had an extraordinarily cold and snowy winter in Michigan this year with no warming trend in sight daffodils will have to suffice.
