Lately just about every painting I have attempted has failed. There is so many failed paintings littering the floor of my art space that I can barely walk. So yesterday I decided to SLOW down and be a little less bold with my strokes. So now I'm thinking I can get a jazzy with the background. With any luck it may actually turn out!

I like where this is going. Sometimes we just need to slow down, think more, plan it out, and then play with the paint.

Poor Spartans. :( And this snow! See what happens when we leave the state?
So far this is beautiful and I'm sure it will end up beautifully as well. I love tulips and you have captured them well here. I would love to see the finished painting.
