Calla



The Calla's are from a wedding I attended this weekend.I placed them in depression glass sugar shaker. A send off into fall and back to work for me.I also attended the Detroit Jazz Festival this weekend,just terrific,great music for free. As for the watercolor,the flower spike in the middle of the flower needs a bit more yellow.Such a substantial flower,really lovely.

I like the photos but the painting is even better! Love the abstracted look of it.

We were at a wedding Saturday, and the attendants carried and wore calla lilies. The bride's were white on the inside and purple on the outside!

The jazz festival is a great way to see summer out.
