virtual sketch date 2

I painted these pears and was not satisfied so I ripped them up and went to bed. Today I like them rip and all.

I like them too - very impressionist!

I love the warm colors you used and think the rip makes it look like a collage.

I like them, too.....maybe you could create this into a lovely creative collage...No more ripping!

I have just looked at these Cathy, and of course your posting about your lovely friend Sharon. Now I can't help linking the two. What a difficult time.I can relate to all you are feeling and I sympathise and send best wishes and prayers. Your signature colours are joyful and refreshing, whether torn or intact. Keep going, girl!

Cathy,

It's true that you have to scroll through the comments to see all the entries this month. We did not do a list of links this time. The problem is that VSD has grown beyond all expectation. It takes a very long time to go through 40 or 50 comments, find the blog posts, create a link and add it to the list. So we decided to not do the post this month. (VSD continues to grow, we have over 100 subscribers, the work involved will only grow.) So we are currently working through alternatives. I agree that the set up this month did not work very well, however all 3 of us were very busy and did not have the time to organize anything else. (In fact, for the first time, I did not participate, such was the fullness of my plate.)

But, I can assure you that we are working on a solution. We are investigating two solutions now and I just heard of another. We will try and come up with a better system (and make sure that it is clear), but for now just bare with us. Thanks for your patience Cathy.

Cathy, no worries (sorry if I sounded annoyed, I wasn't). It's just a difficult thing to figure out - how to make it easy for people to access the images, but not make it a huge amount of work to compile.

I really enjoy the VSD as well - it's also a very nice group we have.
