Holiday tradition

Ever since I can remember my sister and I have planted paperwhite bulbs at Thanksgiving. Our hopes are that they will bloom in time for Christmas. This year Thanksgiving is late and I forgot to plant them a week or so ago . This is a Thanksgiving gift for my sister ,she is the Thanksgiving hostess this year. (for that I am thankful!)

What a nice tradition, Carol! I hope they bloom in time.

I love paper whites. I forgot to plant them too. My family don't like how they smell though. :(

What a gorgeous still life you have here. Love everything in the frame.

Great tradition ... Maybe I'll start it next year!! All our traditions have to do with gorging ourselves--it's nice to have one that looks to the future!

Thanks Ruth, the photo was just lucky. Usually I get too much light and I'm not sure how to control it. I need to take a class.

Laura that's too funny. Believe me we love to eat too.

Oops, I must have just come from Carol Carter's website - sorry, Cathy, I am stuck on thinking your name is Carol for some reason. Just smack me if I keep getting it wrong!
