There is a time ,when you confuse gouache for acrylic and your dog sleeps in the closet because she is too old to find her bed, and that you continue to work on a painting that screams STOP that one must know that they have entered BIZARRO world. A dangerous but fascinating place where caution is thrown to the wind and you wander until you are quite frankly done.
*Warning, bizarro world is not for babies.

Oh I've been there..... many times! lol I have some truly bizarre paintings from those moments....
I have to say I love the rich color and almost-abstract subject: this would make a great stained-glass panel!! As other bloggers have said to me on many occasions: Don't be so hard on yourself! :-)
Stained glass is right, and I felt it before reading Laura's comment. Worthy of Paris.
Yes, I've been there many times, unable and unwilling to stop when it's long past the time for stopping! You never know what might come from such explorations, though!
