I have a feeling my painting is evolving and changing yet again. Like a child growing and developing in different ways i can feel a playful spirit taking me and my painting in a different direction. For these practice paintings i used my old WN palette. I had forgotten about sap green and how wonderfully it merges with perm. rose and ultramarine blue. I am not that pleased with stems of the cherries in the the one painting, but these paintings are practice to fearlessly explore what will happen if... ?Earlier in the week my exploration landed in the trash:)

Wow! Beautiful! Looking forward to see more!
Hello Cathy. If I may say so: your practice work looks very good. Beautiful colors and nice painted!
I like your style!
your loose poetic style works well for you.
I love sap green. And I think your work looks great. Evolving is good!
Very rich colors...the cherries are so inviting. Keep it up!
lots of practice sounds good ..the bottom one is fantastic cathy
I can also see your painting style evolving. It is a wonderful journey isn't it? I LOVE the cherry's - and the stalks! I love the soft fusions of watery paint and the diffused edges... Gorgeous :0)
