Paintings in progress...

I am working on the two posted paintings. The top painting needs something-the colors are off but the composition,i feel, is good. So i am working on solving the problem. The best part of solving a problem is learning something new-such a pleasant path to be taking. The bottom painting need only a few changes and is less problematic to me.

Both look great. But the one on the top has some muted colors which I've never seen in a painting of yours before. Maybe muted colors is just not you?
