With the all of the difficulties in our country as of late it was great to have an opportunity to get together with old friends for the girls card club. Yes there is still life.... and so I am contemplating a painting from my pictures that I took before and after our evening of fun.

There is STILL LIFE. I've been feeling that way too, thinking about how much we have, in spite of hard times. Friends bring so much.

Girlfriends are worth their weight in gold, aren't they? And yes, during these unsettling times, it's good to surround ourselves with friends - and beautiful flowers.
