Sorry about the really poor photos lately. I need to work on my photography skills. It seems that all of my photos lately have had a blue cast. My new year's resolution will be to work on that!

So thanks for the comment, and yes, I gesso on watercolor paper, Arches cold press. You can gesso a rough texture or a smoother one depending on how you brush it on.
