Close up

Looking close at flowers you realize the complexity of the colors, patterns and textures. It is a delight to get lost in the moment and contemplate how to paint it to show off natures beauty. I am not a botanically correct painter, though i used to try, most of my flower exist only in my imagination.

Cathy, such wonderful colors, as always! I sometimes try too hard to paint flowers as they are. I believe it's best to pull things from our imagination and let the paint do the rest!

It is not easy to abstract oneself from what you see and follow your imagination. You do this wonderfully!

Another uplifting and vibrant painting. I call it colour therapy!
