Spring Tulips

Tulips on my kitchen table. The greens are a little stronger in real the painting. Looking at this it looks as if I need to add more darks at the base of the arrangement. I am going to set this aside and think about it.

On the other hand, the way it is at present the composition leads my eye up and off to the left and out of the frame, which is kind of cool. But if that isn't your intention, then maybe you're right.

Ruth, When I look at a painting It is difficult for me to tell where the eye rests or is drawn to. So much to think about when painting. I guess the main thing,as with anything, practice, practice, practice.Oh, and most important enjoy!
